Blade is a tortured soul, half man, half vampire who has devoted his life to killing all blood sucking vampires for the death of his mother during childbirth. When Blade's mother was bitten during pregnancy, she passed on all the good vampire attributes in combination with the best human skills, however none of the vampires weaknesses, which includes the need to shelter from the sun during the day. It is because of this that he earned the name Daywalker from his arch nemesis Deacon Frost, an evil vampire that has declared war on the human race and intends to enslave as cattle for consumption. Blade sharpens his skills with the guidance of Whistler, his mentor and fellow hunter, who forges weapons for his quest, that are deadly to the bloodsuckers. Blades sword of choice is his Sword Of The Daywalker which is forged of the most pure silver.
Our version of the Blade Sword or Sword Of The Daywalker has an overall length of 36 inches with a 26 inch hand polished stainless steel blade. The zinc handle has a black and silver finish that gives it the same look and feel as the one forged by Whistler and used by Blade in his battle against the bloodsuckers. The handle also conceals a twist lock hidden dagger and it is accompanied with a black wooden display stand or leather sheath.
