In 1867 the Meiji Restoration banned possession of katana as arms except only to certain privileged class. As a result the ancient swordsmith began to conceal the blade of the katana in simple walking sticks and the soul of samurai lived on.
Our version of the guardless Blind Fury Katana has an overall length of 40 inches and has a 29 inch hand polished stainless steel blade and it accompanied with a matching saya scabbard. The saya scabbard is adorned with actual wood burned symbols and lacquered to preserve the detail.
