Rescued from the outrageous neglect of his aunt and uncle, a young boy, Harry Potter learns on his 11th birthday that he is actually the orphaned son of two powerful wizards. They were killed by a Dark Wizard named Voldemort while trying to protect him and that he himself possesses magical powers of his own. He is destined to attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and become a member of the House of Gryffindor. During his stay, he not only inherits the sword that belonged to Godric Gryffindor, one of the co-founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but he also learns that he must face the Dark Wizard Voldemort again, and that he is still bent on destroying him.
Our version of the Harry Potter Gryffindor Sword has an overall length of 42 inches with a 33 inch hand polished stainless steel blade with the words Goderic Gryffindor etched onto both sides. The detailed hilt has a griffon on the crosspiece, with studded decorations, and capped at each end by ruby colored gems and it is accompanied with a genuine leather sheath.
