Finally The Karl Ruprecht Kroenen Hellboy Sword. From a very early age, Kroenen demonstrated all the symptoms of sadomasochism, whipping himself and finding pleasure in the pain and as a young man his sadomasochism turned towards a surgical addiction and self mutilation compulsion and and as a result he conducted a series of brutal experiments, removing his eyelids, upper lip, and lower lip. His face was so horribly disfigured, he designed a tight-fitting gas mask to not only cover his appearance but to also filter out germs.
He subsequently joined the Nazi Party, and rose quickly through the ranks, joining the Schutzstaffel in 1933 and achieving the rank of Obersturmbannführer, or Lieutenant Colonel. He was awarded the Iron Cross for services to the Third Reich and he then became head of the Thule Society, a group of German aristocrats obsessed with the occult. He helped them to spearhead Project Ragna Rok, engineering the portal generator that would conjure Hellboy. When Allied forces stormed the island off the coast of Scotland where Project Ragna Rok was taking place, Kroenen lost his left hand when he tried to retrieve a live grenade. The grenade landed right beside the portal generator, and the spinning blades of the mechanism severed Kroenen’s hand and when the grenade exploded, a length of shrapnel impaled Kroenen through the heart.
After Kroenen's disappearance, records were found of his experiments to fuse steel to bone and using arcane science, Kroenen created a prosthetic hand and heart that operated on clockwork engineering and by cranking the key-like mechanism where his heart should be, he effectively wound up his wrists, allowing him to wield his baton swords, or tonfas, with superhuman skill and precision. Kroenen favored weapon seems to be a combination of both.
Our version of The Karl Ruprecht Kroenen Hellboy Sword has an overall length of 30 inches with a double edged and double ended black stainless steel blade and the black metal cast handguard is covered in a black durable composite for a superior grip.
