Storm Shadow Sword G.I. Joe Swords Collection
With the upcoming big budget GI Joe Movie around the corner it only seems fitting to include a post that features one of the two most popular characters ever created for the series, Storm Shadow. Storm Shadow was a master of the Arashikage Clan but after being falsely accused in the murder of the head of the clan, fled Japan to follow the real assassin whom he had witnessed leaving in a Cobra helicopter after the murder.
The Storm Shadow Sword has an overall length of 39 inches with a 29 inch high full tang carbon steel blade and is richly powder coated with the cutting edge exposed. The sword's tsuba is beautifully cast and display a deadly and fast striking cobra, to which Storm Shadow has since pledged his allegiance. The highly stylized tsuka handle and tsuba are cast from solid aluminum and powder coated. This first entry in the GI Joe Swords collection is limited to 2,500 and is accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity as well as a black display stand.

Hey, thanks for the auctions you posted! I found this really neat sword that I’d somehow missed with ebay’s regular search tool. I think the fact that the GI Joe sword is limited to only 2500 pieces is really cool.
